HOTEL & TRANSPORTATION
Why should we stay in convention hotels?
SASE works very hard to secure the best hotel rates possible for our attendees. Some rates are negotiated years in advance and the biggest data point that hotels want to know is how many rooms have been booked in the past and how many will SASE guarantee. Meaning if our rooms go unused SASE will pay for them. Also, the more rooms we use, cities will sometimes subsidize our convention center rental or other costs which aids in keeping NC tickets below industry standard pricing. This is why we ask attendees and especially chapters receiving SASE funding to stay at the convention hotels. Not only does it support SASE this year, but helps with negotiations in the future.
